GDPR Compliance

For our European customers, Delacon has recently undertaken a program to become GDPR compliant. We have taken these steps to show our clients that we are committed to the importance of data privacy and security.

The steps the business has taken include the introduction of new EU privacy policy and a new cookie policy.

Updates to Terms of Service

In addition, we have also updated our Terms of Service to include:

  • a GDPR compliant data processing addendum, between Delacon as data processor and our customers as data controllers, for transfers of data to and processing data in countries which the EU considers to be Adequate Jurisdictions; and
  • EU standard contractual clauses, between Delacon as data processor and our customers as data controllers, for transfers of data to and processing data in countries which the EU does not consider to be Adequate Jurisdictions.

Additional Program

We also embarked on a program to:

    • review the GDPR compliant status of our suppliers including sub-processors.
    • enter into DPAs or other appropriate arrangements with our sub-processors.

Appointments

As per the GDPR regulations, we have appointed a Data Processing Officer and an EU Representative. They can be contactable at privacy@delaconcorp.com.

Non-EU Countries

At the same time Delacon took the opportunity to overhaul its privacy policy for non-EU countries.
